Explore this wiki. How is it collaborative?
Wikispaces is the site used to create this wiki. PBWorks is another wiki provider. They do not offer as many free features as Wikispaces but it is an option.
An interactive space for authoring and responding. Students can author and/or respond. (As of March 2010, our only option for student blogs at VCCS is through Gaggle, our student e-mail system. Thus it is only for 4-6 students at this time).

A unique tool for discussing a photo or video. Multiple people can comment with voice, text and even by drawing. Can be embedded in wiki or blog, or even right on your team page.
An application with satellite views of the whole earth. You can fly around the earth, mark places, upload/view photos.

Google Earth is a separate application from Firefox. It is a free download. At school, it is installed on every machine. Go to the Applications folder in the Finder and look for Google Earth.
Google Lit Trips are files that teachers have developed to connect literature (for all ages) to real places using Google Earth.
